Vintage 40s marching band jacket in a tan wool with black velvet trim. It has a cropped open fit with no closure, built-in padding in the shoulders for shape, front tassels, and side pockets. Most likely originally men's, but works great on women's sizing as well.

Condition: Good, with some fading on the shoulders and down the tops of the sleeves, some of the velvet trim has worn off in a few sections along the edges, two tiny brown glue spots on the left shoulder and one on the left sleeve, missing some of the decorative buttons at the cuffs (see photo), and there are some slits in the fabric of the lining inside the upper back (not visible when worn).
